How To Paint Movement In Water Using Watercolour
I teamed up with Etchr to put together this free watercolour demo about painting swirling seas! Grab some paints and paper, and paint along!
Materials:
Indanthrone Blue or Indigo
Dioxazine Purple
Burnt Sienna or Quinacridone Burnt Orange
Yellow Ochre
Phthalo Green (Blue Shade)
Hansa Yellow Medium
Watercolour paper (I used Etchr’s A4 Landscape Sketchbook. I also recommend Fabriano Artistico Cold Press or Arches Cold Press paper)
Brushes- a small round and a large round or mop
Pots of water (one for clean water, one for dirty)
Masking tape if you want to stretch your paper or create neat edges
